Question 1. What should I wear?

Casual attire is the order of the day. We suggest the following: 

  • Shorts and capris
  • Tee shirts, polo shirts, blouses and tops (short sleeved or sleeveless)
  • khakis and Jeans
  • Summer dresses
  • Sweater
  • Bathing suit and cover up
  • Hat or visor (to protect yourself from the sun) 
  • Comfortable shoes, sneakers, sandals and flip-flops
  • We suggest rubber-soled, low heeled or flat shoes for extra traction; the use of any footwear with wheels is prohibited on board our ships.

Question 2. Should I tip if I want to?

It is customary to extend gratuities (tips) to the shipboard staff for their services. How much to tip is a personal matter and completely up to our guests.

Question 3. Which is the security policy and restricted items list?

In order to maintain a safe and secure environment, Ouranos II prohibits certain items onboard, such as weapons, alcohol, or other dangerous goods. According to our policy,they will be removed and disposed of.  Confiscated items will be kept for safekeeping until the end of the cruise.

Question 4. Are there toilet facilities on board?

Yes, basic toilet facilities are available.

Question 5. Is it safe to carry babies in backpacks or baby carriers on the boat?

Onboard it is safe to carry babies in backpacks or baby carriers. However, when going ashore safety is the passenger’s responsibility.

Question 6. Should you book tickets in advance?

We recommend that you book tickets in advance to ensure your place and avoid disappointment, but tickets are available to buy on the boats subject to availability.

Question 7. What are the payment options?

Unfortunately at the moment only by cash.
